Chroma Choir
Chroma History
It’s the start of something new! Inspired by the powerful community created by the Rochester Rainbow Choir, Peace United’s Chroma Choir will bring music and strong relationships to queer and ally youth in the area. Singers in grades 9–12 are encouraged to join, regardless of previous singing experience and ability. Invite friends to experience the joy of singing in community every Sunday afternoon. The Chroma Choir will perform a song at the Rainbow Choir’s Christmas concert and a full concert lineup in Spring 2027.
Chroma Choir is part of the mission of Peace United, and singers are under no obligation to be affiliated with any religious organization in order to join. Chroma Choir primarily sings popular music with inspirational messages promoting inclusion and acceptance.

Chroma Choir is directed by Dylon Starr (he/him/his), director of programming & music at Peace United and accompanied by Sara Kling-Punt (she/her/hers), licensed PreK-12 school social worker and founding member of Lanesboro Pride.
