Rochester Rainbow Choir
History
In January 2023, Rochester Rainbow Choir was just an idea for partners Max Becker and AL Young.
It was started to create a safe and inclusive space for those in the LGBTQIA+ community (and allies) to gather and sing together in the Rochester, MN area.
By September 2023, the choir had gotten the support of Peace United Church, and a concert was planned.
The choir's first concert was held just one year after Max and AL thought it up!

About Us
We are proud to be accepting of those with differing musical abilities or backgrounds, and do not ask for an audition.
Members of this choir bring varied life experiences and perspectives, but are gathering for the same reason: a passion and love for singing!
The Rochester Rainbow Choir's mission is to provide a safe and affirming space for adult singers in the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. We encourage folks to join regardless of musical ability, experience, or background.
